

Whilst there, he led research and analysis on Africa and, designed and implemented a series of talks featuring senior African leaders called Africa Sessions. He previously worked at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) as a Senior Research Fellow and the Obasanjo Fellow where he helped to launch the Africa in Perspective programme.ĭr Tchie previously worked as a Research Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London and was the editor of the Armed Conflict Database.

He is visiting Professor at the University of Buckingham and a visiting Senior Fellow at Kings College London. His research focuses on three strands: security approaches in Africa, stabilisation and peace operations in Africa – with the focal geographical areas being the Horn and Lake Chad Basin. Yaw Tchie is a Senior Research Fellow at the Training for Peace programme where he coordinates the project programmes with partner organisations.
